The bags and coats the family is selling are more expensive than competitors, often going for double the price and at times nine times the price. Yet there's plenty of bags and apparel made out of luxury animal furs and reptile skins still available online, which many top designers like Armani, Burberry, Prada, Versace and Victoria Beckham have now banned from their lines. Kris has the biggest collection with over products on sale, half have been sold.
This includes handbags made out of alligator and crocodile, shoes out of lizard and python skin, and fur coats from lynx, fox, mink, sable and rare rabbit. There's no mention of any of the proceeds going to charity, despite the family being multi-millionaires, with Kylie said to be the world's youngest billionaire.
Even their brother Rob has got in on the act and there's now a 'men's range', which is full of XL and XXL sweatpants and shirts. But it's not quite the money spinner the family may have thought - with hundreds of items being reduced in price. So far Kylie Jenner's shoe collection has been hinted as part of the Kloset collection, in this Instagram post captioned "shoe heaven. Look out for your faves this Friday at 9am PST! The fast fashion industry follows the Kardashian family religiously, taking inspiration from their daily outfit choices and public appearances.
And while I, and most of the guests at the press preview, had gotten soaked through thanks to an unending downpour, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe looked impeccably coiffed and, yes, chic in their Sears' togs--not to mention enviably dry.
Since the Kardashians are a family that sticks together, mama Kris was there too--looking super hot in that black polka-dot sheer Stella McCartney--and so was Kourtney's beau Scott Disick.
